How to Join the MPIA
Membership in the MPIA is open to those individuals who are working in the field of private investigation and/or process service. Application for membership in the MPIA must be made in writing on an official membership application that can be downloaded below.
No applicant will be denied membership on the basis of age, sex, race, religion, or ethnic origin. Information that is provided to the Board of Directors for the MPIA will be kept in the strict confidence and only disclosed to the board, with membership approval being decided on a case by case basis.
In the event that your membership application is denied, you will be notified as to the reasons for that decision and your initial membership payment will be returned to you, less $15 for processing.
STEPS FOR MEMBERSHIP:

Download the Membership Application attached below. Or you can telephone Nancy Buckley Bonn at (228) 860-1138 for an Application to be mailed to you.

Send your completed application, with a copy of your business license (City, County) and your payment of $50 for Associate or Active Membership to: MPIA c/o Nancy Buckley Bonn,, PO Box 322, Long Beach, MS 39560

If you are already a member, and your membership has not expired, you may send your renewal payment to: MPIA, c/o Nancy Buckley Bonn, PO Box 322, Long Beach, MS 39560.

As soon as we receive your membership application and payment, we will process it. If application is complete and you pass the background check, we will hold a special member conference call to vote on your membership. Upon approval, your information will be added to the Members list on our website and you will receive an email with your user name and password link. You will then be able to login and update your information or photo and access jobs (only for Active membership).
